Episode 15 - Webcomic Podcasting
![]()
With the show today we have JT and Scott of The Gigcast, as well as CD Rudd of the 910 CMX Webcomic Talk Group! We talk shop about how we handle our Webcomic Podcasts. Brett Hainley gives us a short guest review of the webcomic Goblins, and Aarin Edwards gives up a quick impression of Lizzy. We have only one Milestone this week: Super Fight Fight has hit 1 year!
For next week, we’ll be having another OPEN FORUM! We’ll start off by discussing Net Neutrality and what it means for webcomics. Get on SKYPE and look for “fesworks” next Tuesday night to get on the show! around 9pm Central (-6 GMT). Get on and share your thoughts! Or submit an audio file or plain text e-mail message to us with a question or comment about this week’s topic, or next week’s topic!

Nice show once again! I liked the part at the end; sort of reminiscent of the “stinger” at the end of MST3K episodes.
One weird downloading issue this time: When I tried to download with BitComet, I couldn’t get any sound. I moved to another computer, downloaded without BitComet, and it worked fine. Probably just the computer I was on, but I was wondering if anybody else encountered that problem.

Oh yea, and we put little links up on the right side of the site for The Gigcast, 910 CMX, and Art & Story. Basically I plan to cycle this “Promotion” area with links related to who and what we have on the show!

You should really check to see if the music is off.
Other than that good show.

What music? Where? Which segment’s music was off?

Nice show, but I wanted to give you a heads-up: Digital Strips is back in the podcasting biz! In the first one, we review Pictures for Sad Children and take on the vexing question of whether LOLCats are (is?) a webcomic. We’re recording on a more-or-less weekly schedule, so expect more soon!

Cool! I’ll try to remember to mention that on the show!

I’ve been told that Virgin Worlds, ep 70, had an episode that went over Podcasting techniques:
